You can only buy predefined cash values that vary from one Amazon online shop to another: CONS: The only problem is that there are times when Microsoft stops selling Xbox gift cards on Amazon.
There are weeks when the links we shared do not work, and some gift cards are listed as “Currently unavailable.” These games are available as digital, download-now options, and use the Xbox Live DRM system.
They are listed as being shipped and sold from Amazon Digital Services LLC, and you can pay for them using your Amazon Gift Card balance (if any) or with your debit or credit card. PROS: You can buy and download an Xbox game in minutes, as your only limitation is the speed of your internet connection.
CONS: The biggest problem with this method is that you get access to a limited portfolio of Xbox games. In its details, see the line that contains the Gift Card Code that you can then redeem following the instructions in this tutorial.
If you purchased an Xbox game as a digital code, you find it in the same list. Read on to find out what you have to do after buying a “download code” from Amazon.
If you bought a game, it is now available in your Xbox library, ready for download. Start your console, sign in with the same account you used earlier, and enjoy your purchase.
Many gamers prefer to use their console for redeeming their Xbox digital codes from Amazon. Type it using your controller and the keyboard shown on the screen and press the Check code button.
Another option is to use the Xbox app from Windows 10, which automatically syncs with your console, as long as you use the same Microsoft account on both. Start the Xbox app on your Windows 10 PC and click or tap your account’s icon in the top-right corner.
In the next window, type or copy and paste the redeem code, which is 25 characters long, and press Next. If the redeem is successful, the next time you open the Xbox console, you either find your Xbox gift card credit available in the Store or the digital game you purchased ready for download and installation.
Type the redeem code that you purchased or received as a gift, and then press Next. From the Home screen, select and open the Store app.
In the Store app, move the cursor left or press the View button on the controller to open the side menu. Don’t worry about hyphens, the system takes care of those for you.

Select Games & Apps, then choose To redeem Code. I don't believe so, but if it does there should be an expiration date in the email you received (if it was a digital code) or on the card (if it was a physical card).
You can also go ahead and add the 3 months and it should extend your current subscription. Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.

No Xbox Live code you buy doesn't expire. Only promotional codesdo, and they have the expiration date on them so you are good.
.you have to.remember that codes are region locked some if you got it from Amazon UK but you are really from France the code will.never work Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.
Digital codes meanwhile do not have an expiration date, but there are exceptions to that rule. Promotional codes will expire.... sometimes.
Reason I say “sometimes” is it depends.... case in point I bought some used games from a pawn shop & I was wondering if the DLC codes were used & there was a 2 week Xbox Live code in there as well. I entered them both & they were never redeemed, but they had expiration dates on them that had already passed.

Before I was informed, I thought I had to wait to enter the Lb Live code before my previous one expired. If in the email you received there is an EXP code, best use it.
