I’ll be sure to keep this section updated with all of Amazon ’s current coupon offers. Popular coupon categories include beauty, pet supplies, Prime Pantry, home & kitchen, grocery, electronics, and toy & baby.
The coupon will then get added to your account and your discount will automatically be taken when you complete the purchase. Always read the fine print of the coupon as some are only for Prime members and some are only for those who use the Amazon “Subscribe and Save” program.
Because of my addiction, I have learned some pretty cool tricks over the years to maximize my savings at the online retail giant. So I thought it was time to put all my tips in one place so you can maximize your savings at Amazon as well.
Bottom line, if you think you’ll shop at least twice per month on Amazon, Prime is totally worth the money. This is by far the biggest benefit, especially since Amazon carries pretty much every product you can think of.
Also, it is very impressive that 2-day Prime shipping is also available on really large items like microwaves, televisions, and basketball hoops. Important Note: Only the primary Prime member has free access.
If you own a Kindle device you get to borrow one preselected book title per month. You’ll still get almost all the same features as a regular membership, plus student specific discounts on thousands of products.
Your best bet initially is to sign up for a 30-day free Prime Student trial membership to test out the service and make sure it fits your needs and is worth your money. The only downside I have seen with Amazon Prime is it makes it VERY easy to overspend if you are not careful.
Also, it’s worth noting that the best way to get the most bang for your buck is to “go in” with some family members and split the $119 Prime membership. The primary member can extend an invitation to one additional adult and up to 4 children in the family.
Let’s keep this going and talk about even more ways (besides Amazon coupons) to help you save money with the online retail giant. It’s a terrific site to use in addition to coupons to basically stack your savings.
Maybe you weren’t already aware that Amazon .com is constantly changing the prices of their products. You can quickly see this by adding a few products to your ‘Save for Later’ folder in your Amazon account and track them over the course of a few days.
Most of the deals are kitchen items, small appliances, tech-gear, and electronics and the savings are substantial. For example, today they have a Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse for 50% off the original regular price.
If you don’t care about owning a particular brand, their Daily Deals can really save you some money, especially when doing your Christmas shopping this year. The kicker is that they show up on your doorstep for free and you can cancel your subscription at any time.
Since Amazon changes their pricing all the time, a good deal on Huggins in February may be a ripoff come June. In any case, the outlet offers some great savings up to 70% off the original price.
When available, coupon codes can be found on select product pages and added to your order with a single click. Check the Today’s Deals page for discounts upwards of 70% off a variety of products, no code necessary.
(The tool picks through Amazon reviews and doles out poor grades for items that have biased critiques.) Free shipping price is available for Prime members and eligible orders that cost $25 or more at checkout.
How to Win 5% Back on Purchases with Amazon ’s Prime Rewards Credit Card Amazons Subscribe & Save service offers up to a 15% discount at checkout when you add five or more eligible items to your monthly scheduled delivery.
Students can enjoy free shipping for their first 6 months with Amazon Prime, and 50% off their membership fee after that. If you don’t mind open box or used products, you should definitely check out the Amazon Warehouse page, which allows shoppers to find great deals on everything from electronics to housewares.
Buying from third-party sellers and individuals on Amazon is another way to get huge discounts on used items, especially previous generation Kindles and other e-readers, as well as electronics and older books. They have coupons on household necessities like cleaning supplies, bath and beauty products, and groceries.
Frequent Amazon shoppers should definitely sign up for a Prime membership, as the free shipping alone may save you hundreds alone. Amazon Prime Video offers access to thousands of titles for $8.99 a month as a standalone subscription.
Amazon Fashion is creating quite a bit of buzz with this new “try before you buy” program, which essentially lets you shop for clothes from home with no strings attached. Millions of items, from clothes to shoes to accessories, will be tagged with an Amazon Wardrobe logo.
You no longer have to pay 99 cents to order Dash Buttons in their physical form; you can instead get the same (arguably better) experience on your phone. Just tap on the left side of the “button” in the app and you’ll see what the current price is.
There doesn’t seem to be a $4.99 credit waiting in the wings for using the digital Dash Buttons for the first time, but that’s no surprise. There is an Amazon customer service representative named Thor who is everything we’ve come not to expect from most people in his line of work (funny and helpful).
Thankfully, one of them took a screenshot of the conversation and posted it online so the rest of us can enjoy the witty back and forth dialog. Slick deals strives to offer a comprehensive coverage of the best coupons, promo codes and promotions for thousands of different stores like Amazon.
We have a dedicated team that works around the clock to find, post and verify the offers we present to consumers. Get great savings and deals at your fingertips by downloading our Slick deals Mobile App on iOS or Android.
We may receive compensation when you click on links to those products and services. It’s where they store all the gift cards you redeemed and any other credits Amazon has given you through their various promotions.
Some people reload their balance because Amazon gives them discounts for doing so, or they really just want to spend a certain amount of money there without going over their budget. The offer only applies to the first reload of your own Amazon .com Gift Card Balance.
The Amazon .com Gift Card reloaded to your account and the $10 reward can both be checked on the Amazon .com Gift Card Balance page. Offer is limited to one $10 Amazon .com Gift Card reward per customer and account.
Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time. The amount you reload to your Amazon .com Gift Card Balance is not transferable, refundable or redeemable for cash, except as required by law.
Amazon Prime was first launched back in 2005, and shortly thereafter our family signed up to take advantage of the reduced rates on shipping. The service first launched at a $79/year price point, and over the years it has gone up to $119/year while adding a number of benefits besides the free 2-day shipping.
Over the years Amazon seems to always be adding new features to Prime, often these perks were available and I didn’t even realize it. If you order an item, and it has a guaranteed delivery date on your checkout page, if it doesn’t arrive at the promised date, you could receive a refund of your shipping fees.
Amazon promises Prime members free 2-day shipping on millions of products on their store, but what happens if your package is delivered late? After we had a package miss it’s promised delivery this past week I learned that Amazon may actually compensate you if an item doesn’t make it’s guaranteed delivery date.
Your credit or debit card must be successfully charged before the deadline displayed on the checkout page. The guarantee does not apply if we miss our promised delivery date because of an unforeseen circumstance outside our control, such as a strike, natural disaster, or severe winter storm.
So if you find that your order meets all the requirements above, you may be eligible to receive compensation in some form. In checking with others who have successfully asked for compensation, it can range anywhere from receiving a credit on their account, to a free month of Amazon Prime, to a full refund on the item and shipping cost.
I think the amount received tends to vary depending on the cost of the product, the number of late deliveries, and possibly other factors. When you get to the contact page you’ll see a list of items currently being shipped to your delivery address, and you can see tracking details, order numbers and expected arrival time and more of those items.
To request compensation, at the top of the screen just choose that you need help with An order I placed “. Personally I prefer to do things on the chat because I don’t want to be sitting on a phone call listening to hold music.
The chat is usually pretty quick and you can leave the window open while they investigate your issue. Once your chat agent arrives, it’s just a matter of inquiring about your late package delivery, and asking politely for some sort of compensation.
In this case they were happy to give me a $15 Amazon credit on my account, which comes out to about 40% of the order total. I read that Amazon may compensate customers in cases where packages don’t arrive by the guaranteed delivery date, and it causes an inconvenience.
Remember to be polite and engaging when you contact them, you’ll likely have more luck with the agent if you’re nice. I used the Paribus service and received several decent sized refunds from my credit card provider.
Paribus (which is owned by Capital One) also recently added a new service called “Delivery Monitoring” where they automatically identify and track the shipment of purchases made at select online retailers, including Amazon and Walmart. If an online order is delivered to you later than the retailer promised, Paribus will contact the merchant to request compensation “.
So just sign up for Paribus, turn on “Delivery Monitoring” feature in your settings, and then any purchases you make in your linked Amazon or Walmart accounts will be tracked for on time delivery, and compensation requested automatically when they’re late. For me the process of requesting compensation for a late delivery with Amazon was easy and was completed within 5 minutes.
