We sell shoes, and we got that email as well and it mentioned some SKUs Thanks, Susan… I assume we don’t have to take the test and none of our media offerings will be delisted because of this.
Is that correct… have the robots been reprogrammed to skip media items? The first response was that we do indeed need to go through the certification protocols, but when we wrote back, the second response was to do nothing, so we received completely opposite directions from support.
Our notices were not for media related items at all, and also not at all related to pesticides … A Merino Wool Top, a set of bedsheets and a pair of safety goggles were the 3 items we got notices on so far. Seamed: If you have any further questions, please contact Selling Partner Support.

What is the email to contact selling partner support? You took 4 of my listings down with this new pesticide ruling but my products are fabric bags and nothing to do with them.
My listings have been inactive for 24 hours now and I’m losing sales. Our problem is not with the email, but now we can not list products.

Intensive land modification in many parts of the Brazilian Amazon is exposing large numbers of species to pesticides with unknown impacts, according to Luis Schedar of the University of São Paulo, Brazil and his team of researchers. “ Pesticides are products deliberately designed to reduce organismal growth, development, reproduction and survival and as such have a potentially broad range of lethal and sublethal effects of concern,” Schedar told mongabay.com.
The overuse of pesticides is predominately, but not solely, attributed to small produce farmers whose primary income is based on total production and quality of agricultural yields, according to the researchers. In contrast, larger, corporate farms are under the public eye and more likely to obey regulations set by governmental organizations.
As with the case of agricultural expansion into tropical forests where land is plentiful, readily appropriated, and cheap, it is common for economic incentives to outweigh conservation and the overall health of surrounding species. Small produce farmers, for example, make their primary wage based on the quantity of their frontier land’s yield.
EDITOR’S NOTE: As of June 16, 2019, Amazon has apparently stopped accepting requests via email for reduced packaging in orders. You can still select the option for recyclable Amazon Frustration Free packaging at checkout.
But when you open your box of goodies, you may be dismayed to find it filled with plastic air pillows, bubble wrap, and other packaging and padding materials. Those concerned about the packaging in their orders can email Amazon ’s customer service team at cs-reply@ Amazon .com to request minimal plastic packaging inside their orders.
Amazon will respond within a day of receiving your message to let you know they’ve added a note to your account. It’s important to keep an eye on your orders following this change to ensure that Amazon is, in fact, limiting packaging.
By providing feedback, you can help ensure that they heed your request or, better yet, change their processes to reduce unnecessary packaging for all. The company says they have developed a software program to determine the appropriately sized packaging for any given item to be shipped to a customer, based on the item’s dimensions and weight.
