This means that you are free to create any head canons about the events that happen to your character! The game is not a slog that will require you to grind until you can afford in-game stuff.
Just like in real life, you can succeed in real-life if you invest your money right. We’re taking that back because if the in-game economy suffers, chances are high that you will lose your job.
In the beginning, you will have limited options, but as you age and your decision-making capabilities and rights expand, you will be able to take other responsibilities and enjoy other features of the game! Because the Billie game simulates most of the intricacies of life, even your starting condition is realistic.
You can become a poor soul with no parents or a rich kid who’s born with a silver spoon in your mouth! If fate decides so, you can also be an average child whose life story is not worthy of an award.
While your starting conditions can be dire, you can still beat your path to success. In Billie, you can hang out with friends, pets, and family to boost your mood and relationship with them.
You can also do various interactions with them to damage your relationships, so feel free to become the most hated person in town. Just like in real life, you can utilize the law to mess up with people or to get back to those who wronged you.
Achieve all the goals in the game like reaching your dream in real life. Although it does mention drugs a little, and sexual themes, but none of this are actually ally shown in picture.
I thought and my son did to that this was a really fun game for most kids who are mature. Report this review 0 Written by Anonymous February 20, 2021 Be careful about this, but don’t say “no” Billie is a text based life simulator that uses realism to live another life.
You can set parental controls on the game and it is simple to turn off violence. I would say that this game is for kids ten to eleven years and up depending on how mature your child is.
There are choices a character to make including one-night stands(for adult players, you give it an age and it sets what to show) and there are choices to drink and smoke. This game is fun and addictive but there are time limits that can be set.
Overall, this game is great, but other reviewers say that there are too many bad decisions that can be made. However, depending on your age (16 and up People are given the option of premarital sex and one-night stands.

Report this review 8683328 Written by Snarkier June 15, 2019, Too inappropriate for many reasons for younger than older teens. I'm a super liberal person, an activist for LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized groups and have no problem with any of the social aspects of this game but as far as theft, murder, drug use, etc, I am not good with my 10-year-old playing it.
Report this review 8893613 Written by laser.Chloe September 5, 2021 Stop overreacting I let my child start playing this at the age of 10, sure it has sex references, language and stuff but if you know that they’re responsible and won’t say the swear words and say no to the sex things, they’ll probably be ok. Report this review 8878844 Written by Momof2USA July 27, 2021 So glad I checked in on this.
I can see how a teen would find this stuff scandalous or play this for shock value, but it's way over my son's age level. I'm not even clear on how this game is played, it is text based and reads like Irving Welsh and Chuck Palahniuk had a love child and their love child wrote a life story about someone.
Unless there's nothing to prevent kids his age, but it's also targeted to him which is weird because he heard of it was in another game's ads. Report this review 8860079 Written by Libliz813 June 13, 2021 Not appropriate for kids Many of these reviews mention the sexual situations your character can be in, but they don't mention that you can add your own things to it like lingerie photo shoots and sexting.
This is not how kids should learn about nature topics and adults are clearly using this to live vicariously through a character. Report this review 8750087 Written by ShaderSlashBoy October 18, 2019, Excellent I love this game and so do my kids (12, 13, and 11 yr old) I told them that if any crap shows up that's inappropriate.

Report this review 8740030 Written by sarahqinton October 2, 2019, This game is great! Billie is the now-famous smash-hit game for the iOS and Android where you manage the lives of characters through nothing but text.
You can age them one year at a time, work on their happiness, health, smarts, and looks, figure out how to make money and what to do with your life, and far more. One of the biggest draws of this game is how much the developers communicate with the fans, and the numerous updates loaded with new features reflect that.
Thus, this article stays updated to keep up with the new features in this game. One early thing to figure out is how to earn money in the game.
Obviously, you won’t be able to earn money except by borrowing it from your parents early on. Thanks to some updates, you can now take part-time jobs or freelance gigs before you even get out of high school in order to make money.
Once you graduate high school (age differs depending on country), you can either get a job or go to college. Generally, you will earn more money when you go to college for longer periods of time; however, the main exception to this rule is when you go into the entertainment industry.
The price goes up every year, so hold until you feel it’s been profitable enough, then sell your house. Stealing an expensive car and then selling it can earn you a one-time windfall.
Your character can now feel stress, thanks to work, school, part-time jobs, freelancing, and more. If your stress level gets out of control, your character can start to see health problems, including things such as high blood pressure and death.
If you’re doing too much part-time work while you’re in school, quit a job or two or a freelancing gig. The easiest ways to deal with these are to hit the gym and the library, and to meditate (all of which are under the Mind and Body tab), and to spend time with your parents, children, siblings, spouse/lovers, and other people that you have a relationship with.
Watch out for huge life events that can affect your character in a major way. You’re going to need to hit the gym hard, meditate, hit the library, see movies, spend time with those you love, your pet, and more in order to get your happiness and health back.
If you emigrate, for example, and you have grown children, they might not be able to come with you, so you can’t spend time with them unless you move back to your home country. Engage in hookups or sleep around or try drugs, and you could end up pregnant or addicted.
Buy too expensive of a house or take out college loans that are too high, and you could end up bankrupt. When you’re shopping for a house, be sure not to buy a place where the maintenance and mortgage fees are so high that your money drops too fast every year.
Depending on your branch of service), your salary tops out at a certain point, and won’t get any higher. Keep the military option in mind if you get a degree and then have a rough time finding a job in your field.
Or if you make some bad decisions earlier in life that affect your ability to get a good job, the military can give you some stability as well. If you have a four-year degree, you can apply to join the four branches as an officer, which carries an upside of eventually making General and having an extremely high salary.
You can leave the military by asking for a discharge, or you can go until you hit retirement age (20 years or more). You can build a big savings by joining the military and retiring eventually (so you get a pension), and either go to grad school or start a career elsewhere.
Of course, the real fun in this game isn’t living a normal, successful, boring life. Once you sign up for social media, you’ll gather followers gradually.
If you have a character whose looks rating is next to nothing, this is one of the few ways to improve their looks, but it also runs the risk of going wrong and dropping your stats. The other way is simply to let them age; oftentimes, their looks rating will increase rapidly as they get older.
You have various instances pop up over time, and some answers provide more risk than others. Even seemingly innocent instances, such as trying a craft beer or trying something illegal, could put you at risk of addiction, which would then necessitate going to rehab.
Becoming addicted to alcohol, or trying a hard drug, also puts you at risk of an early death, or of losing your job and/or all of your money. You can choose to go to the witch doctor at random times whenever you want to, and they will offer you some weird ingredient to eat, such as a raw Komodo dragon egg.
If they don’t work, your stats could drop hard, or your life could be ended by a poisonous ingredient. Whenever an update comes out for the game, make sure that you finish out your character’s life, unless you don’t care about losing them.
You can also consciously end the life of your current character at any time you want, and you’ll get the full gravestone and cause of death treatment with them. Being smart and having good looks take a really long time to achieve if you are not born with them.
Start preparing for college and career before you even get to middle school if you want that high paying job. Make decisions that will pay off down the line, even if your smarts and other stats are sky-high.
The effects won’t show up immediately, but these will help you get scholarships after high school is done and get accepted to your college of choice, and studying hard in college will help you get more jobs that you interview for. Going to the gym and the library increases your chances of landing that scholarship or that job.
Meditation increases your chances of staying in good mental health, or avoiding ailments such as schizophrenia. Sometimes, you’ll get a character to adulthood, get them a high-paying career, then realize that you still aren’t getting ahead.
HOT: Here’s Ten of the Most Underrated iOS/Android Games You can get a gambling addiction which can severely goof up your relationships, your job, and more, but you can also earn a ton of money with a combination of luck and skill, and you won’t even have to advance years in order to do it, so theoretically you can earn unlimited amounts of money. If you do end up stuck in a dead relationship with a kid, check back with their relationship rating every year, and (if applicable) spend time with their kid (your grandkid) once per year.
