What is Amazonian? AmazonVine invites the most trusted reviewers on Amazon to post opinions about new and pre-release items to help their fellow customers make informed purchase decisions. Amazon invites customers to become Vine Voices based on their reviewer rank, which is a reflection of the quality and helpfulness of their reviews as judged by other Amazon customers.

Amazon provides Vine members with free products that have been submitted to the program by participating vendors. Amazon does not modify or edit Vine reviews, as long as they comply with our posting guidelines.

The program was created to provide customers with more information including honest and unbiased feedback from some of Amazon's most trusted reviewers. Vine Voices are selected based on several criteria, but primarily on the helpfulness of their reviews as judged by all other customers and by their demonstrated interest in the types of products that are featured in the program.

Customers who consistently write helpful reviews and develop a reputation for expertise in specific product categories are most likely to be invited into the program. We want the Voice program to reflect the best of our growing body of customer reviewers.

We invite reviewers to participate in the Vine program based on feedback from other customers. In addition to the reviewer rank, we also weigh customers' demonstrated interest in products similar to those enrolled in the Vine program.

This facilitates product reviews by people who are familiar with the category they belong to. Products are provided by publishers, labels, studios, manufacturers or any vendor participating in the program.

Voices are selected to participate based on their helpfulness of reviews voted on by other Amazon customers. A reviewer's ranking is determined by the number of helpful votes from other customers.

Some participating vendors will enroll pre-release products for Voices to review prior to launch. With 92% of customers making online purchases through Amazon, soliciting a high quantity of reliable reviews is a vital component of your success.

Amazonian is a based on unbiased communication between selected reviewers (Vine Voices), enrolled sellers, and buyers. Sellers enroll in the program and submit products to be reviewed by Vine Voices.

Amazonian originated in part because sellers were soliciting favorable rankings by offering free or discounted products in exchange for glowing reviews. To make matters worse, some of these products were counterfeits that would otherwise receive negative feedback without the incentivizes.

Amazon's algorithm matches them to products based on the category of their prior purchases. It offers an unprecedented way to increase the number of reviews of your products and improve customer trust in your brand.

Amazonian works to generate real reviews, which can otherwise be a challenge, particularly when a brand or product is just getting started. Enrolling in Vine also drives brand awareness, since Amazon's algorithms give more weight to top-ranked reviewers.

Once you’re enrolled in the program, one of the Vine Voices can request to review your product. Vine Voices won’t hold back their criticism if they find something wrong with your product.

If your brand and product meet the above requirements, you can follow these steps to enroll in Amazonian. Amazon decides what products to offer each reviewer based on their previous purchases/reviews.

For example, if a Vine Voice mostly purchases and/or reviews electronics, Amazon is more likely to offer them products in that category. For the first 28 days of enrollment, Amazon will only show your product to a targeted group of Vine Voices who typically purchase in your category.

If there is still remaining inventory after 28 days, Amazon will offer it to all Vine Voice reviewers. Let’s go over the benefits and drawbacks of the AmazonVineprogram to help you decide if it’s worth enrolling.

There is still no guarantee that you will actually receive the full 30, as some Vine Voices may choose not to leave a review. Since the Vine Voices aim to break down every aspect of the product, potential customers get a fuller picture of how it might work for them.

Amazon limits the number of ASINs that can be active at one time to five. No, Amazon Voices members are not required to leave a review once they receive the product.

In our experience, most Vine members will leave a review in order to keep their rankings high and to continue to receive free product. Go to your Amazon Seller Central home page.

Click Details next to the product you want to cancel enrollment for. In the bottom right corner of the page, click Cancel enrollment.

Logon to the Seller Central Main page. If not able to access the Vine Dashboard through Seller Central, check your permissions.
